Reclaimed explores the moment when domination collapses and balance is restored.

A woman appears adorned in luxury garments made from animal skins — symbols of power, status and control. What initially reads as fashion slowly reveals its violence.

The crocodile emerges from the garment itself, absorbing every texture and pattern back into its own body. The human figure dissolves, leaving no trace — while nature advances, intact and sovereign.

The final perspective places the viewer inside the animal’s mouth: a reversal of hierarchy.
The observer becomes observed.

This is not a story of destruction — but of return.

Reclaimed was conceived as a transformation-led work, where meaning emerges through motion rather than static symbolism.


The process began with the development of a highly controlled fashion image. Every visual element was intentionally directed — from body posture and frontal stance to lighting, lens perspective, color balance, and environmental atmosphere. The model was constructed to face the viewer directly, establishing an initial position of dominance and control.


The garment itself was designed as an exaggerated couture object, merging multiple animal skins into a single sculptural form. Particular attention was given to texture realism, volume, and material tension, allowing the crocodile element embedded in the dress to feel both ornamental and latent — present, but restrained.


From this final still image, the work transitioned into motion. The video sequence was built starting from the static frame, treating it as a point of equilibrium before collapse. Transformation unfolds progressively: the crocodile detaches from the garment, absorbs the surrounding skins into its own body, and becomes autonomous, while the human figure dissolves into water and disappears.


Movement, weight, and direction were carefully choreographed. The animal’s advance toward the camera is frontal and unavoidable, emphasizing confrontation rather than spectacle. The final transition places the viewer inside the open mouth, shifting perspective from observer to consumed.


Throughout the process, AI was used as a construction and transformation medium, enabling precise control over form, texture, and temporal progression. All narrative pacing, symbolism, and visual hierarchy were directed intentionally, with AI serving the concept rather than generating it.
